Rubble's Story

Please join us in giving a big Big Hearts for Big Breeds welcome to Rubble! This handsome Mastiff is just under a year old and still very much a puppy in a giant-sized body. He’s at that fun age where he’s learning about the world, figuring out his manners, and getting ready for all the adventures life has in store for him.

Rubble is already potty trained, and one thing we know for sure is that this boy loves to travel! He was fantastic in the car, making him a promising copilot for future road trips and adventures. With his puppy personality and plenty of growing left to do, Rubble will benefit from a family ready to continue his training, provide structure, and help him develop into the wonderful adult dog he’s meant to be.

We’re still learning about Rubble’s relationships with other animals. He has shown some reactivity toward other dogs, though he has gotten along with certain dogs in the past. We’ll continue evaluating his compatibility to better understand what types of canine companions, if any, might be a good fit. Rubble also has a known prey drive, so a home without small animals is important. His compatibility with children is currently unknown, and we’ll share more as we get to know him.

Rubble is not quite a year old, so there’s plenty of opportunity for learning, growth, and positive experiences ahead. He’ll be altered while in rescue and will need a family committed to helping him build confidence, practice good manners, and navigate the world successfully.

If you’re ready for a big, lovable puppy who’s eager to explore life and would make an excellent travel buddy, Rubble might just be your next co-pilot!
