Roxy IV 26-022's Story

Meet Roxy!
Roxy is a 1-year-old Terrier/Miniature Pinscher mix with a big personality packed into a small body. This outgoing girl loves making new friends-both human and canine-and isn't the least bit intimidated by dogs bigger than she is. She's confident, social, and always ready to be part of the action.
Roxy is full of energy and absolutely thrives on playtime. Whether it's a game of fetch, a walk around the neighborhood, or zooming around the yard, she's happiest when she's on the move. Because of her terrier and Miniature Pinscher roots, she'll do best in a home that can provide regular exercise and plenty of mental stimulation to keep her busy and happy.
Roxy's journey started when she was found as a stray and taken to a local shelter. When CARE met her, they immediately fell in love with her sweet, spirited personality and knew she deserved a second chance.
If you're looking for a fun-loving, confident companion who will keep you smiling and, on your toes, Roxy might just be your perfect match!

Roxy is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $300.

Roxy is in the Paws in Prison program, where she receives basic obedience training. She will graduate from Paws in Prison on 7/4/2026. The dogs in this program are provided basic level training under the AKC Canine Good Citizen standards and are specifically selected to be family and companion dogs. They spend 24 hours a day with their trainers. So, there will be an adjustment period as they adjust to their new family schedule.

For this reason, they will do best in homes where they are primarily inside dogs and spend lots of time with their families. The adoptive family will receive his training journal. This journal documents his arrival from the shelter, daily training progress, and interactions with the trainers.

If you are interested in meeting Roxy or learning more about our adoption process, please submit an adoption application. Thank you!

Sponsor: Susan Campbell
