Meet Roxy!<br/><br/>Roxy is a beautiful 6-month-old female Doberman mix (we think) with a sweet personality and a bright future ahead of her. She and her brother were found as strays, wandering the streets, hiding in the woods to avoid passerby cars and now thanks to a foster opening their home, this lovely girl is ready for a fresh start and a family to call her own!<br/><br/>At approximately 35 pounds with the coolest color eyes, Roxy is still growing into the wonderful dog she's meant to be. She has the potential to be a loyal, affectionate companion, combining the intelligence and devotion Dobermans are known for with all the fun, curiosity, and playfulness of a young pup. <br/><br/>Like any puppy her age, Roxy will benefit from continued training, positive reinforcement, and plenty of opportunities to explore the world around her. Dobermans are highly intelligent dogs who thrive with consistency, daily exercise, mental enrichment, and lots of love. Roxy would do best with a family committed to helping her build confidence, learn new skills, and grow into a happy, well-rounded adult. Given her hard start to life she can be timid at first but once she knows you aren't going to harm her she warms up quick. She is being fostered with several dogs and loves them, she would love a sibling or at least the opportunity to socialize with other dogs in her forever home.<br/><br/>Whether she's joining you on outdoor adventures, learning alongside her people, or settling in for some quality time at home, Roxy is ready to begin her next chapter with her best friend by her side.<br/><br/>If you're looking for a young, smart, and loving companion to grow with your family, Roxy may be the perfect match!<br/><br/>Roxy is currently being fostered in Houston, Texas, but she is available for adoption and transport to many areas across the country. Her $600 adoption fee includes transport.
