Roxy's Story

Meet Roxy!

Roxy is a 2-year-old, 41 lb sweetheart who arrived at the shelter a little underweight but with a fantastic attitude. She's friendly, wiggly, and always seems happy to be part of whatever is going on.

This petite girl has a goofy side and is often seen hopping around with excitement, but she's also extremely polite. She walks beautifully on leash, ignores the barking dogs down the hall, and seems happy and curious when passing other pups.

When she's out in the yard, Roxy likes to split her time between zooming around and checking back in for affection. She's a big fan of pets, hugs, and spending time being close.

Roxy already knows sit and even picked up "down" while spending time outside us. Smart, social, and full of personality, she's the kind of dog that's easy to enjoy being around.

As always, we strongly recommend that resident dogs meet any new potential canine family members. If bringing a resident dog for a dog to dog test, please bring proof of Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccines.

To meet/adopt, visit us in Greensboro, NC from 12-4pm any day except Tuesdays; no appointment needed.
