Beautiful Roxy is a 4 1/2 yr old Lab and Terrier mix. Her family did not want her and gave her to a guy. One of our volunteers was walking with her children when the guy approached them asking if they wanted Roxy. Our volunteer took Roxy home to keep her safe. The volunteer contacted the phone number on Roxy's tag and the owner confirmed she did not want her. We wlcomed Roxy into our rescue without hesitation. Roxy is an amazing girl. She is loving, loves to snuggle, hang out with people and go for walks. Roxy has good leash manners. She is dog social. Unknown how she is with cats. Children 8 years old or older. Her forever home is required to have a totally enclosed physically fenced yard. Roxy is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, on heart worm preventative as well as house and crate trained. Roxy is looking for an family who will share adventures with her, play and most of all love her for the rest of her life!!!

All dogs we rescue stay with us until they find their forever homes. We do not do same day adoptions. A home visit is required to ensure our dog is going to a safe environment and our dog gets along with your dog(s) and/or cat(s). We require all our dogs over the age of 1 year attend 1 obedience class (6 week session) outside the home. You must live within 1 hour of Birmingham, MI to adopt one of our dogs. No out of state or outside the U.S. adoptions or fosters. Roxy's adoption fee is $275.
