Roxy 3408's Story

7/15/25. Dear friends, I'm ROXY, and I could really use your help. I'm a 2-year-old red Euro Doberman with a pedigree from champion lines in Serbia. My previous owner, who brought me to the U.S. when I was just a pup, was heartbroken to let me go. With their busy travel schedule, they thought it would be better for me to find a home where someone could spend more time with me. I'm a hefty girl at 75 pounds, but I'm your classic Velcro dobie – I love being close to my human. I'm playful, athletic, and friendly with everyone I meet. Plus, I'm super smart! I've had some professional training, including e-collar training, but I really need a dedicated adopter who will keep working with me. I'm crate trained, do well in the house, and I like other dogs as long as we’re introduced properly, but would be best as the only dog in my home. Loyalty and love are my strong suits, and I form deep bonds with my people. I thought I found my forever home a couple of weeks ago, but sadly, I was returned for reasons I don’t quite understand. As much as I appreciate all the volunteers and staff at the rescue, it breaks my heart to be back here again. I'm really hoping to find my furever person because I've got so much love to give, and I just want to be your best friend. I'm quick to learn and eager to please. PLEASE SHARE my story; I just want to go home. No cats or kids for me since I haven’t been around them. Thanks a lot, Love ROXY.

5/15/25. Hi! My name is Illuminata Della Andassi, but you can call me Roxy. I’m a two-year-old red, female, European Doberman Pinscher from Serbia. Yep, my person flew me over when I was a baby. I come from the Della Andassi kennel, a well-respected, award-winning breeder. I come from a long line of pure Euro Dobes.

I have been professionally trained. I am pretty good off-leash too. However, I am only two, and I can be a bit precocious, particularly around squirrels ï ̧ and lizards. I am crate trained too.

I have an excellent temperament. I’m a big girl at 75 lbs and do sometimes think I am a lap dog. #velcrodobe! I have always been the only dog in the house; however, I go to the dog park regularly and have been hanging out with other dogs at a boarding place as my person has been traveling a lot. And that, unfortunately, is why we are posting this message. We live alone, and he is not able to give me the attention I need. I’m a smart, energetic girl, and I need attention and exercise.

Medically, I am in perfect health and current with my vaccinations. My ears are cropped and my tail is docked; however, my person really stunk at taping my ears, so they don’t stand up. I’m still super cute though! He said it’s most important that I find a great home, so he will help any way he can in placing me. I come from a place of love and hope to find more of the same! ❤ï ̧, Roxy
