Meet Roxanne
Meet Roxy a sweet Chiweenie, which is a mix of chihuahua and dachshund. She’s about 17-18 lbs. and a little over a year old. It takes her a little while to warm up to new people but after about a week or so, she started trusting us. She may need a little help with some training. She’s about 90% house broken but may need some attention in that area. We take her out often but once in a while she might have an accident in the house if we haven’t timed it right.
She is playful and easygoing but will need a family with patience to work with her to help her overcome her fears. She is very loving and she really enjoys resting nearby us and especially loves being petted.
If you spend time with her and let her know you can be trusted, I believe she’ll be a great pet and wonderful family member.
Since Roxanne came from a hoarding/backyard breeding situation she will not be adopted to a home with children. She will need a quiet home that gives her a lot of time to adjust and settle in.
