Meet sweet Rowen! This little 15-pound Terrier mix came into the local shelter with a shattered leg, and sadly, her leg was too badly injured to save. She had to have an amputation, but Rowen is healing beautifully and is proving that having three legs certainly isn't slowing this girl down! <br/><br/>Rowen is a total Velcro dog. If you're sitting on the couch, she wants to be right beside you. If you're in bed, she wants to be snuggled up next to you. Honestly, everything this little girl does is adorable! <br/><br/>She absolutely loves people and is a friendly, gentle, people-pleasing girl. She does wonderfully with dogs, cats, and even birds. She enjoys being outside and is happy to be part of whatever you're doing. She walks nicely on a leash and knows some basic commands like sit, stay, come, and no.<br/><br/>Rowen doesnt seem bothered by much at all—not the vacuum, lawnmower, storms, or everyday household noises. She is curious, brave, affectionate, loyal, playful, and just an all-around wonderful little companion. <br/><br/>She is mostly potty trained and rarely has an accident. She has not shown much interest in toys yet, but give her a comfy couch and a human to love, and she seems pretty content! <br/><br/>Because Rowen is a tripod, her forever family will need to be committed to keeping her three remaining legs and joints healthy with a good diet and lifelong hip and joint supplements. A fenced yard is also required.<br/><br/>Rowen is ready to put her difficult past behind her and find the family who will show her just how wonderful life can be.
