Special Needs? Rowdy is neutered, up to date on vaccines and heartworm negative. Our vet noted that Rowdy has a club foot. Rowdy arrived in rescue lightly heartworm positive. He has been treated and now tests negative for heartworms. Rowdy is half of a bonded pair with his best friend Reddit. They will only be adopted together. If you don't have room in your heart for 2 dogs, these are not your dogs.

What kind of home would be best for me? Rowdy is a highly energetic little dude that MUST be adopted with his canine BFF Reddit. Although nearly three years old, Rowdy simply cannot live without Reddit. He is looking for a home without kids. Rowdy and Reddit tried a home with kids and decided it was not their speed. His caregiver here explained that Rowdy is extremely friendly but a high energy dog that can be a bit much for an adopter who is not ready to get up and move with these little guys! Rowdy is friendly with other dogs and cats, he doesn't mind either in the home as long as he gets to take his best buddy Reddit with him! A house with a fenced-in yard would allow Rowdy and Reddit ample opportunity to zoom around your yard together.

What is my personality like? Rowdy is full of spunk and life. He is always bouncing around and checking out life as it cruises by him. Rowdy loves to be around humans as much as possible, a lap is a must for him to snuggle in. Rowdy is a friendly little man with tons of love to give He adores his best buddy Reddit and must be adopted with him. He looks for Reddit when they are physically separated, he really just wants to conquer his world with Reddit by his side.

Rowdy's picture should be next to the definition of lap dog in the dictionary. Other than being around Reddit, Rowdy wants nothing more than to be around his people as they love on him with pets, and scratches. In return he'll shower you with numerous kisses from his tiny tongue. Rowdy dreams of finding a forever home with Reddit so their lives can be like a storybook, with you their hero who saved them both. Don't miss your chance to be their hero.

This adorable little guy needs much love as you train him how to walk on a leash and in basic commands such as sit, stay, down, come, etc. Rowdy has much to learn from his adopter but, in return, he has much love to give to his adopter.

How do I act when I first meet new people? Rowdy loves everyone he meets, just no children, please.

House trained? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule if a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.
