Picked up by Kern County Animal Services in Caliente, a rural community, as a stray. Rowdy wasn't in the best condition. He spent a month at the shelter healing and hoping to find his exit through adoption. His positive outlook unfortunately failed to find him a home or a family and eventually Rowdy needed rescue to get him out alive and give him his chance. And boy is he overjoyed with the chance he's been given. <br/><br/>Rowdy is ready to spread every ounce of his love to you! He's do best in an active home where he can get the exercise, structure, and love he craves. In return, Rowdy will shower you with loyalty, laughter, and endless games of fetch. There's nothing better than chasing after a ball and he really does love all the balls! Rowdy has lots of potential and he's still learning. He's working on his leash manners and basic obedience skills but his eagerness to please make him a quick study. With consistency, patience, and plenty of playtime, Rowdy will grow into the perfect adventure buddy ready to bring all his smiles to your family.
