Meet Roux, the delightful shepherd mix ready to bring joy into your home. With her striking short brown and black coat, Roux is a 45-pound bundle of love at 4.5 years old. She's mastered both house and crate training, ensuring a smooth transition into her forever family. While she cannot live in a multi-dog household, Roux's gentle demeanor makes her a favorite among kids and other dog friends, and she even gets along with cats who know how to set boundaries.

Despite her initial shyness, Roux quickly warms up to new faces, especially if treats are involved. Her endearing habit of resting her head on your knee to request pets is sure to melt your heart. Roux's favorite pastimes include playing with Frisbee toys and engaging in a spirited game of tug of war. Although she may bark at strangers passing by, she's content to relax at home alone for a few hours without much fuss.

With her medium energy level, Roux enjoys a brisk thirty-minute walk but also appreciates having a fenced yard to romp and explore. With Roux by your side, you'll find endless companionship and unconditional love.

Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchip implant (including registration). Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.

Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown.

Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 90-mile radius of Minneapolis; however, we will consider up to 250 miles if the applicant is willing to drive to cities as needed
