Rounder's Story

Rounders Story:

Rounder, apparently a Kelpie mix, is striking pup with amazing upright ears, intense eyes, an easy-to-keep, smooth black coat. Rounder is about 1 year old and ready to find his forever home!

Rounder does not appear to be a particularly high drive pup, compared to many of the herding breed dogs. But he certainly does need to get his zoomies out, particularly in the evenings. He gets along well with the other dogs at his fosters home and loves to play with the 6-month-old puppy. He is also good with cats. As a young puppy, he was in a home with small children (He was rehomed to a cowboy who moved on and could not take him.)

Rounder is a very sensitive and somewhat timid pup, most particularly with men. He will thrive in a home where his humans are advocates of positive training methods to help develop him into a confident and well-adjusted adult dog. A home with another dog for canine companionship and to help him learn the ropes would be a huge bonus. Before coming into foster, Rounder apparently had never been inside of a house and had little or no formal training, but he is figuring it out. To date, he has not marked or relieved himself in the house and crate training is going well.

Rounder presently weighs 42 lbs. He is microchipped, neutered, and up to date on vaccinations. He is being fostered in Plush, Oregon and his adoption fee is $400. If you are pre-approved and interested in adopting Rounder, please contact the adoption team at hunahapps@gmail.com.
