Rosie Corgi Rockaway, NJ

Rosie is a 2& 1/2 year old, female, Pembroke Welsh Corgi. She’s healthy and up to date on her vaccines, as well as microchipped.
Rosie was unfortunately collateral damage in a poor marriage and ended up being abandoned in her home with neighbors coming in to care for her. Thankfully an extra caring neighbor brought her home and she’s been living with them this last few months until she could get a transfer of ownership form signed. Now she’s available for adoption to the right home!
Rosie is a lovely girl. She gets along with most dogs and cats she’s been exposed to and currently lives with both. She is very high energy and barky, so her best match would be someone who owns a house with a fenced backyard and some buffer space. She’s friendly, but no young children. She is mainly housebroken, but because she’d been abandoned, she lost some ground in this area. Her foster parents have been working on this and say she’s doing well.
We prefer her adopter to have previous experience with the breed. We also prefer someone who primarily works from home or is retired and willing to put in some training to continue her improvements. Northeast adoptions only.
