Rosie Girl's Story
*located SW Portland Oregon

Healthy, 15 months old, 55 lbs, Active Young Dog Loves Adventures.
Potty Trained. Great Dog!

ROSIE LOVES PEOPLE,
SHE LOVES KIDS,
GOOD WITH DOGS,
GOOD WITH CATS.
Lives well with other pets,
but would be delighted to be a SOLO PET,
giving and getting all the attention.

Useful skill - if you say so”Hey” Rosie will stop and figure out what you want her to do then do it and come to you. Delightful Rosie wants to please her people.

Rosie has her full tail & ears.
URGENT. owner has become disabled into a wheelchair.

ROSIE

Rosie is a very loving dog. She would LOVE an active owner, an owner who will take her out often or who has a yard. Rosie makes children giggle with enthusiastic greetings. She is devoted to her people, but is good with everyone.

She's a velcro dog and will follow you and try to be near you at all times, yup, even in the bathroom. She's a chewer! Rosie gives amazing hugs and loves to play...anything, tug of war, fetch, likes digging in the dirt and loves her some sticks. She wants to play with my cats but they just don’t understand her bringing them sticks sticking her butt in the air and chuffing and wagging at them. It’s cute but cats and dogs play differently. My ancient dogs don’t play anymore.

“I’ve known Rosie since she was tiny. My apartment neighbor couldn’t keep her and I took her at 9 months old to keep her out of a bad situation.”

She's a great dog, loving and caring and just wants to be with you and near you. She deserves better than I can give her.

If I had to sum Rosie up in a ultra short description, think of the movie, "Marley & Me" with Ownen Wilson.

Other:
Loves playing fetch, loves sticks. She will nudge other pets out of the way so she can be next to her person. She thinks she's a cat! Rosie lives withother pets well, but is so devoted to the human connection she would be delighted to be a solo pet. But is also great as one of the group.

Loves to PLAY... PERIOD!! Literally anything. Tug of war, playing fetch. I have one of those tennis ball thrower, she LOVES that. She will eat the tennis ball, just a heads up.

Reason for rehoming:
I’ve become disabled into a wheelchair and cannot give her the life or exercise she deserves. I’m now barely managing my two senior dogs and cats but I just cannot give young athletic ROSIE a life where her needs are met. She is a great dog!, Loves to go out. She has always lived in an apartment. I think she would love a home with serious play time outside.

Moderate Rehoming Fee.

(Inquire through button or email use directly! Please include your contact info.)

Fostersaveslives@outlook.com

F.O.S.T.E.R., INC. is a small foster-based rescue.
