Rosie's Story
Rosie was picked up in a cotton field on the edge of Levelland, TX covered in dozens of ticks. When I met her she weighed 19 lbs, covered in scabs, slept all the time and was infected with tick fever. Wow! She has changed so much in 3 months. Rosie now weighs about 40 pounds, her coat is shiny, she is full of energy and is ready to play. The better she felt, the more her puppy side came out! She is a big puppy and wants to explore the world. She is a medium to high energy dog and needs more room to play than I can give her. Rosie loves our daily walks, especially when we are at the park with the geese, and I think she would thrive in an environment where she could be outside more and with her human as much as possible. Rosie is a very smart dog and has attended some obedience classes (where she was so excited to be around other dogs, it was hard for her to sit still- she is ready to meet some puppy friends!) and is currently learning to play fetch at home. She is housebroken, crate trained, a terrific car rider, excellent rawhide chewer, and a fantastic cuddler at bedtime.

Our dogs are fostered in Texas but available for adoption in the Northern States. We have transports that leave Texas monthly. Our out-of-state adoption fee is $575 per dog. This fee includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations, a registered microchip, a negative heartworm test, health certificate, flea/tick monthly preventative and transport costs. The adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc). The adoption application and fee would be finalized prior to transport.
