Rosie's Story
Meet Rosie! She is about 8 months old, 40 pounds, and given her beautiful caramel swirl coat and short tail we think she is a Plott Hound or Tennessee Treeing Brindle mix. In her foster home, Rosie is house-trained, crated at night, living with other dogs and kids (5+). Rosie has never met a dog she didn't like. She loves to run around outside and could play with the resident dogs for hours, but when it is time to come inside she is calm and loves to snuggle on the couch. She really enjoys soft blankets and hard bones to chew on in her down time. Her ideal home is one where people are around to train her, take her on fun adventures, exercise with her and include her in their lives. She would love a fenced in yard to run around and explore in. Rosie could easily live with other dogs and respectful kids (and parents who are aware that she is a bigger dog). We think that Rosie would make an awesome and active family dog or could be someone's constant companion. She is available to meet by appointment in Hopkinton, MA on September 4th. If you would like to meet her, the first step is to fill out an application at browndogcoalition.com/adoption.

Her foster says, "She loves tennis balls, rope toys, soft toys. Rosie and her foster sister love to play tug of war with rope toys and run after each other to get other toys. She loves running along the fence and exploring all areas of the yard. She loves playing with other dogs. She has met many different dogs and did well with all. Once she knows you, she is a big snuggler!"
