Rosie's Story

Rosie is making progress. She's come a long way from her neglected days. Rosie needed a big yard for her to actually be able to run in and stretch out those long legs. Not a dog pen. That's what she had the first part of her life.
She's a bundle of happy energy learning new things. Food and treats are a big motivator for her. Yes, I'll sit for that treat! We are also working on being more calm. She's learning from the other fosters that feeding time doesn't have to be chaotic. Ok, I'm getting better at sitting still for my food .
Rosie is very happy to be out of the E-collar and all her medical completed. Spayed, microchipped, heartworm prevention, flea and tick protection. She's just over a year old and weighs 65 pounds. Her brother had a DNA panel run and top two breeds were German Shepherd and Doberman Pincher. They look just alike.
Rosie loves attention, pets are the best! But treats are also up there on the list of favorites.
Rosie has been recuperating from my spay surgery. The old lady has made a few repairs to this awful e-collar thing around my neck. Just a few more days she says...we will see. I'm feeling better each day and staying warm. The old lady is pretty nice with the treats too.
Can't wait to be someone's best friend.
Her adoption fee is $150.
Save 1 Pet is a 501 (c) 3 approved charity committed to helping homeless animals. We don't have a facility (shelter) but work out of our homes to foster the animals until they find a forever home.

Please be advised that for all adoptions, we will conduct reference checks, including veterinary references. Our adoption fee for dogs includes spay/neuter, heart worm check, current vaccines, microchip, worming and heart worm/flea/tick prevention.
For dog adoptions, we do conduct fence verification.
When adopting an animal, you will be asked to complete our Adoption Contract..
