Meet Rosie!

Are you looking for a new best friend who will stick by your side? A work-from-home buddy? Rosie is your gal! She is a lover and wants to be wherever her people are. Rosie is a 1.5 year old mixed breed who made the trip from Alabama on 3/2/24. She experienced her first Wisconsin snow this week and loved it!
Rosie is a nice medium energy dog and weighs about 45lbs. She enjoys getting out for daily walks to take in all the smells. Rosie is working on her leash manners but does well overall. While she enjoys her walks, Rosie also loves a good nap. She enjoys sleeping by her foster mom's feet while she works.
Rosie is house trained and sleeps quietly in her crate overnight. She gets along with other dogs and would probably enjoy a dog sibling to play with. Rosie isfostered with a cat who she gets along well with. She does like to play, which our cat is warming up to. Rosie is not fostered with children but has met our 4 and 6 year old niece and nephew and has done well with them. She loves giving kisses and getting treats.
Rosie is available for adoption through Ma, Paws & Me Pet Rescue based out of Watertown, WI. She is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, up-to-date on all age appropriate vaccines, and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention. Adoption fee is $325. To apply, please visit mapawsmepetrescue.com.

Our process is as follows:
1. Review our policies and adoption radius on our website: http://mapawsmepetrescue.com/adopt/
2. Submit an application for review and approval;
3. MPM Rescue reviews application and checks vet records and references;
4. MPM foster contacts approved applicant(s) to arrange a home check and meeting with available dog(s);
5. If there is a good fit, adoption is completed with a contract and fees (payable via check or cash).

Dogs from Ma, Paws & Me Pet Rescue come with the following medical care already provided:
- Spay/Neuter surgery
- Age appropriate vaccinations
- Heartworm test (for dogs over 6mo) and treatment if positive
- Microchip
- Deworming
- Heartworm and Flea/Tick Preventative
- Any other necessary medical treatment as recommended by veterinarian
