Rosie 's Story

Rosie wants to be your best friend 💕

This sweet, gentle retired mama is happiest when she’s near her people and knows she’s loved. Since arriving in foster care, Rosie has made great progress with house training. She had a couple of accidents at first, but she’s now doing well about going outside.

Rosie does need to put on some weight, so mealtime is very exciting for her. Because she’s still thin, she can be a bit of a counter surfer and garbage diver. Her future family will need to be patient and consistent as she learns better habits—she’s eager to please and just needs guidance.

As the snow melts, Rosie is really enjoying her walks. This southern belle prefers milder weather and walks at a brisk pace, staying alert and happily sniffing her surroundings. At night, she sleeps well in her crate and will sometimes relax there during the day. That said, Rosie truly loves human companionship and would be happiest in a home where her people are around most of the time.

If you’re interested in learning more about Rosie, please reach out to Barbara at BarbaraABoxer@gmail.com
.
Please note:

You must be approved before meeting Rosie or any dog in rescue

Adoption or foster applications can be submitted at www.njboxerrescue.com

The full approval process must be completed, and we cannot hold dogs while applications are being processed

Rosie’s Details:
Age: 6 years
Housetrained: Yes
Dogs: Yes – submissive male dogs only
Cats: Unknown
Kids: 10+

Rosie is ready to find a loving home where she can finally relax, be cherished, and return all that love tenfold.
