Rosie *ADOPTED Beagle Barnegat, NJ

Rosie is a bit down since she learned she must diet to shed some extra pounds, but this sweet, quiet 8 year old will make a wonderful addition to a loving family. Rosie is very low key, enjoys her nap time and likes being outdoors exploring new surroundings. She has no trouble getting around at all, and when she loses some weight she’ll be light on her feet! She gets along with people and dogs but she’d really love some one-on-one encouragement along with a few walks to get into shape. Rosie is not a barker or howler. We suspect she has led a neglected life which shows by the condition of her skin. She has either a flea allergy or a food allergy but we are treating whatever it is and she’s will most likely regrow the fur that’s missing on her lower back. Rosie also has some hearing loss, but she can certainly hear the dinner bell! We want Rosie to go to a home with a fenced yard so she can roam safely in her surroundings. She loves to be outdoors and we want that for her. She will not thrive in apartment life.
We love our seniors. We hope you do too. Rosie just needs a little attention and love and she will thrive. Could you be her hero?
