Rosie's Story

**Please take a moment to read the bio in full before reaching out—this helps us respond quickly and efficiently.**
Meet Rosie!
Breed: standard poodle, she is on the smaller side.
Age: est 2.5 years.
Weight: est 37lbs.
Training: crate, leash, and house trained.
Good with other dogs/cats? Yes to both.
Good with adults/kids? Yes, though Rosie appears to prefer women. She has never been aggressive, but will bark and become more anxious around men, and strangers. Due to her background, she doesn't have much experience with men.
Personality: a little shy at first and when in new situations. She warms up to be friendly, playful, and affectionate. Once she trusts you, she is very loyal and affectionate.
She hasn't had many life experiences and she will need a patient and understanding family as she adjusts to life as a companion. She will do best with another dog in the home, so that is required. Preferably someone experienced with breeder dogs.
Reason for rescue: breeder retiring.

She is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and current on vaccinations and preventatives. She has also recently had her teeth cleaned.

If interested in adding this sweet girl to your family, please message for an adoption application!

Adoption fee: $350.

Please note: With limited foster homes and many dogs waiting for rescue, we are unable to place dogs on hold. Approved adopters must be ready to move forward. We welcome out-of-state adopters but do not offer transport, and an in-person meet and greet before adoption at the foster’s home is required.

Thank you for your interest in adopting a rescue pet!
