Rose's Story
Meet Rose

Out of all 36 dogs crammed inside that horrific RV hoarding case in Merryville... tiny little Rose may just be the gentlest soul of them all.

No electricity.No running water.No food.No comfort.Just survival.

And somehow through all of that, this precious little girl remained nothing but soft, loving, and sweet.

When Rose came to us, she had a broken leg that had healed on its own, forcing her to drag it behind her tiny little body everywhere she went. Since then, she has undergone two surgeries — one to amputate the damaged leg and another for her spay — and she has healed beautifully. Watching her now, you would never know the pain she once lived through. She hops around happily, plays, explores, and lives life to the fullest. Her three little legs do not slow her down one bit.

At only around 13 pounds, she's still working on gaining healthy weight after everything her body has endured, but she's already blossoming into the happiest little princess. By transport time, I'm hoping this tiny sweetheart will have gained another pound or two and be feeling even stronger.

Rose is absolutely wonderful with children, amazing with other dogs, and truly has not a single mean bone in her body. She is quiet, gentle, easygoing, and just wants love. Her favorite place in the world is curled up safely in your lap.

Now... if someone walks outside at night while my kids are out or I'm walking dogs, suddenly Rose transforms into the fiercest little “guard dog” you've ever seen She will bark to alert me that danger is lurking... but the second I tell her “okay baby, that's enough,” she quiets right down. She is eager to please and so incredibly well-mannered. You would never have to fuss at this little angel.

After the life she survived, Rose deserves the softest blankets, the gentlest hands, the quietest home, and a family who will spend the rest of her life treating her exactly how she should have always been treated...

Like the tiny princess she is.

Heartworm negative Up-to-date on vaccines & preventions Dog friendly Kid friendly Professionally adorable Lap dog expert Tiny survivor with the biggest.

Fill out an adoption application if you would like her to join your family. Her $425 adoption fee covers medical care up to adoption to include vaccines, spay, microchip, leg amputation, foster care and transportation from Louisiana to NY.
