Hello! My name is Rose. If you're looking to add some super chill energy into your life, I'm your Golden Girl! I have been with my foster parents since January & they have not heard me bark even once. My foster parents aren't sure how I ended up at the shelter, but they are sure I was very loved at one point and always tell me how perfect I am. I am potty trained. If you don't have a dog door, I will sit by the door until you open it for me. I sit for food & treats and take them gently. I have a crate that I go in on my own sometimes, but they leave me out in the house when they have to leave me alone. I have never had an accident & I don't chew things or make any messes. I just take a nap til they get home. I love to take naps & my foster mom says I always smile in my sleep! I like to watch my mom in the kitchen and stay close by in case she needs an emergency taste tester, but I never get in the way. Sometimes, she gives me a piece of cheese or veggies. I love cheese! Carrots not so much. I am a good listener, but my hearing isn't what it used to be. I get a really excited when we are getting ready to go on our daily walks, but once we are outside walking I am calm & I don't pull on the leash. I smell things here and there, but mostly I just like getting out and getting fresh air with you. I walk ½ mile everyday! There are no other pets where I live now, but I like all the people I have met. I would do best in a quieter, less active home & I am great company for someone who works from home like my foster mom. I promise I will be the sweetest, most polite girl you've ever met. I love to give kisses & have that spot above my tail scratched. And, once I get to know you I'll let you rub my belly, too!
