Meet Roscoe Saxe
Roscoe Sax is a real sweetheart; just the best dog ever! He LOVES adults and kids and enjoys giving and getting hugs. Roscoe is so gentle and patient, but you can really feel him yearning for companionship after so many long months at the shelter. He wants a normal life again! When adopters pass Roscoe's kennel, he wags his whole body, quivers with anticipation, and talks to them in quiet little ramblings. When brought up from the kennels to the shelter lobby, he gets so happy daring to dream that it's his turn to exit and get in somebody's car! It's obvious this handsome pup was once someone's special pet because when he came to LCSPCA as a stray way back on 5/11/23, he was social, happy and house-broken. Roscoe was estimated to be about 2 years old and weighed 49 lbs. when he came in 5/11/23 as a transfer from the county pound. He has been fully vetted (treated for heartworms, neutered, vaccinated).
