Roscoe's Story

AGE: 2 years WEIGHT: 50 lbs URGENT! At the beginning of June 2025, a tree fell on the Haven where we house our rescue dogs. The Haven has been damaged beyond repair and demolition is being planned. As such, we need to have everything, along with our rescue dogs, removed by August 9th or 10th. Roscoe is one of 3 rescue dogs currently being housed in the Haven. (Debbie and Carter are the other 2.) Rescue dogs housed at the animal hospital (Akuna and Izzy) take up most of our room, so fitting more dogs will be very difficult. We desperately need to have our rescue dogs find their perfect homes. We have a lot invested in our rescues and would rather they not have to stay in cramped quarters. If you cannot adopt or foster Roscoe, PLEASE share his bio. - - - Bio: Roscoe is one of our rescues that has been with us for a year or longer. He came from another rescue that was at capacity. Roscoe is an extremely intelligent dog. He is very quick to pick up new tricks, and is very food motivated (which comes in handy for training). Recently, he has been learning how to walk on a leash without pulling and he has done very well! He gets along well with most other dogs, but would do better in a home without cats. Contact us by e-mail to receive more information about the pet you are interested in and an adoption application. Fill out the application and send it to us. After your application has been checked, we will make an appointment with you and your current pets to meet and adopt your chosen pet. We will do a home check within a week and call you to see how things are working out.
