Roscoe's Story

Roscoe came to rescue with his little buddy Ryleigh, after their owner had to move to Arizona and the owner couldn't take him or his buddy with.
Roscoe is an older fella that is quiet but still gets around and loves a good walk. He gets along with dogs, cats and kids with no issues. He is housebroken and crate trained. He's looking for a quiet home, one that isn't expecting him to fetch a ball but rather loyal companionship, share the couch with, or just go day driving around on a beautiful day. He came with his buddy Ryleigh to rescue but he doesn't have to be adopted with her, he doesn't seem very bonded with one another. Roscoe does need a little bit of a diet to loose a few pounds as he is around 94# and the vet said he's probably a 75-80# dog.
We have tested him for Parvo, heartworm, Giardia, and Coccidia. We have been updating his vaccines, got him chipped, and he's being dewormed. We started him on monthly preventative as well. We have waived his testing, and shots, other than his rabies, because he's a little older and does need assistance to get up into vehicles or other places where he might need to jump up into, stairs are not an issue. He has been on supportive supplement of Cosequin just to help lube up his joints.
If you would like to give a memorable last chapter to Roscoe, please reach out.
The foster parent is taking inquiries and setting up meet and greets for this handsome boy
Please call/text (218)640-1930 or .(218)371-1212
