Rosco* A216822's Story

VIP: Rosco is a friendly boy who is quite smart. He is about 13 months of age and went on a group dog walk to a park along with other dogs from the shelter.
The volunteers said that he is an awesome boy! He was excited to come out of his kennel but was very manageable getting ready for the walk while in the lobby (harness, etc.). Rosco was on a walk with with another dog and was wonderful! He walked calmly and politely towards other park goers both human and dogs. Rosco is a great car passenger and he seems to prefer laying his head on the middle console during the ride. Rosco would make someone looking for an active companion very happy. This boy is a 10 out of 10! He visited a local fire station and took a few photos on top of the fire engine & later got a few more pets. He gave some tail wags and kisses to the firemen too! Rosco is a wonderful, sweet dog who would make the best sidekick/member of the family! PS: He was not scared of the sirens and sounds of the station.

Adopted animals are not able to go to their new home until spay and neuter surgery has been done.
Adoptions are first come first serve, and no appointment or application is needed. When asking about an animal, please provide the identification number that starts with A.
For more information, please call the shelter at 972.769.4360.
