Rosco Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler Mix Saint Clairsville, OH

Say hi to Rosco! He is still looking for his furever home! He originally found himself here at the shelter back in February 2023 as a stray. He was adopted for a few months, but then returned to the shelter due to playing too rough with the small child in the house. He is a very energetic cattle dog mix that would do great with an active owner who is familiar with herding breeds. He needs work on his manners as he gets very excited, but with training, he could make an excellent best friend for the right owner. He would make an amazing agility dog if that were something you'd like to learn with him! He loves walks. to play tug and getting moving but can also appreciate a cozy lap as well. And he has pretty much the cutest ears and teeth you'll see on a dog. He also does not seem bothered by the shelter cats or dogs, but we can always do a cat "test" and a meet and greet with current dogs is the house is always recommended.
Sadly, Rosco may be passed by in his kennel due to his overly energetic antics, but if you find yourself intrigued by this ball of fun, please apply and come meet him in person to see what a great dog he is!
