Rosco is a great Lab mix weighing 40 lbs at 1 .5 years in age. He was picked up as a stray in AR. He is an active guy with med/high energy who just loves to run and play. He will do best in a home with another dog to exert his energy, and pet parents who will spend time teaching him how to be the best boy ever! Rosco has been good with other dogs, but has not been cat tested. He gets so excited when he meets people that he jumps for joy and could be a bit overwhelming to smaller children. He can also climb a chain link fence to be with his people, so needs a stockade or high picket fence instead. This pup is a sweetheart and will thrive in a home where he receives the attention he so deserves!

Please Note: Rosco is currently being fostered in AR and is not here to meet. It is very likely he will receive a deposit for his adoption before arriving in MA. We find our pup's do best in a home with children ages 5 and older.

Please complete an online APPLICATION if you wish to adopt. Forever Home Rescue New England is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process. Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to do their business outdoors. Our dogs and pups are best suited for families with children 5 yrs old and up.
