Volly's Story

Meet one of our Football Mascots puppies! With football right around the corner from the day we rescued these 10 puppies, it seemed like a good theme :-)

These puppies were born from an “oops” when their unspayed mama was visited by at least one – or maybe 3 because the puppies all looks so different – gentlemen callers. Mama appears to be a very mixed large breed, but primarily maybe some kind of shepherd. Many of the puppies look like Hound mix – but we have no idea who the dad or dads are.

Their weights at 11 weeks ranged from 15 to 24 pounds, so some of the puppies will probably be on the higher side of Medium and others look like they will definitely be Large adult dogs.

Although caring for 10 puppies is a pretty daunting task, their owner did take very good care of them and they all came to us as happy, social pups. They love people and they love playing with each other too, so we know they would enjoy other dogs in their forever homes.

If you think you might want to give this sweet pup a home, please email jojosdogrescue@gmail.com and we will send you an application, or visit our website: www.jojosdoghouse.com and download one. Adoption fee is $250, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, parasite treatment, and microchip with lifetime registration.

Please visit our Facebook page JoJo's DogHouse (non-profit) to learn more about us and see many of the dogs we have rescued. We hope you'll join JoJo's family of adopters!
