Root beer

Meet Root Beer!

Root Beer is a handsome male Shepherd mix who came to us from local animal control with his siblings. He was born in late June 2026. He’s a sweet, lovable puppy who is ready to find a family to call his own.

Like his siblings, Root Beer is a cuddly little guy who enjoys attention and affection, but he’s also a puppy—so there’s plenty of playing, exploring, toys, and mischief mixed in! He is good with other dogs and cats and would love a home where he can continue learning, growing, and experiencing everything the world has to offer.

As adorable as Root Beer is right now, puppies are a lot of work. His adopter needs to be prepared for house training, crate training, leash manners, basic obedience, socialization, chewing, accidents, and all of the other adventures that come with raising a puppy. Patience and consistency now will help him grow into a confident, well-mannered adult dog.

As a Shepherd mix, Root Beer will likely grow into an intelligent and active dog who needs regular exercise, mental stimulation, training, and plenty of interaction with his family. A bored puppy—or adult dog—will usually find his own entertainment, and it may not be something you appreciate!

Please remember that adopting a puppy is a commitment that lasts long after the puppy stage is over. Root Beer will depend on his family for quality food, routine veterinary care and preventatives, training, exercise, attention, and love throughout his entire life. Dogs should be considered part of the family through moves, job changes, new babies, vacations, and whatever else life brings.

Root Beer is looking for serious adopters who understand the responsibility that comes with puppy ownership and are ready to give him the time and guidance he deserves.

If you’re ready for puppy kisses, goofy antics, lots of learning, and a best friend to grow up alongside you, Root Beer is ready to meet you!

Adoption application can be found at this link-https://airtable.com/shrAznkHf1ruIqQwq
