Rooster's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Rooster! He is a sweet, chill, friendly 3 yr old male Great Pyrenees. Currently a little underweight at 75lbs.

Rooster loves all dogs, he is very playful and sweet with them. He has done great at doggy daycare. He is uninterested in cats.

Rooster loves everyone and is happy to meet new people. He will lay his head on your lap to rest and loves to get belly rubs. He can be somewhat playful with people but doesn't have much interest in toys. In the past, he has played a little too rough with small children, but with another large dog in the home to play with and some training he should be okay. He is good with seniors.

Overall he has low energy, even for a Great Pyrenees. He loves to be outside but would be okay with a small yard. He is very quiet and rarely barks. He has confinement anxiety and doesn't do well being crated.

He is house trained. He adores going on walks and does well on the leash, minimal pulling. Also does well in the car, other than some drooling.

Rooster is an absolute joy!

He is currently in a foster home in DFW area of Texas. Out of state adopters are responsible for arranging their own transport. Rooster is neutered and up to date on vaccines. His adoption fee is $250.

Apply to adopt at www.spinrescue.org
