Meet Rook, an 11-month-old Akita mix. Rook is working on leash training, not pulling so much during walks. He loves lounging in a fenced in backyard. He is house-trained and he lets you know when he needs out. He likes to play fetch, however sometimes is not too willing to give the ball back. He can get overly excited. He loves people and doesn't know a stranger. Rook loves kids however he gets overly excited and wants to lick them too much. (He doesn't know is own strength) He loves other dogs. He likes cats that don't get overly excited (however, if they try to run from him he will chase them). He loves loves to be with his humans . Loves car rides. Rook is a fantastic dog that will make someone a good companion.

Your $350.00 ADOPTION DONATION will be used to help rescue the next pet in need. (As a rescue we reserve the right to assist the applicant in selection of a pet. Please understand some families will not possess the qualities necessary for certain pets.)

OUR RESPONSIBILITY: All adopted pets are (age appropriate) current with rabies and distemper/parvo vaccinations. All of our rescued pets are micro-chipped and (age appropriately) spay or neutered. While some of our pets available have been treated for heart worm or tested heart worm negative all of our pets will be current on heart worm preventative. All heart worm information is available to all applicants as this information is crucial to the well being of the pet. Please see your individual contract for all details related to your adoption/pet.
