Roo Roo's Story

Meet Roo Roo — an 8.5-year-old Belgian Malinois with a heart as big as her love for adventure. Roo Roo is the kind of dog who can spend the day exploring wooded trails, chasing toys, or trying out agility obstacles, then happily curl up beside you for a cozy evening at home.

This lovely girl has lived successfully with both cats and dogs, though like many dogs, she prefers some canine personalities over others. She’s well-mannered in the home, enjoys car rides, and would make an amazing companion for someone who loves the outdoors.

At the shelter, Roo Roo has been showing off her natural athleticism by trying agility — and unsurprisingly, she loves it! Whether it’s playtime with toys, long walks in the woods, or simply being your loyal sidekick, Roo Roo is happiest when she’s with her people.

Roo Roo is at the shelter through no fault of her own. Her previous owner fell on hard times and describes her as the perfect best friend — affectionate, playful, and always ready for an adventure or a cuddle.

If you’re looking for a smart, loving, active companion to share life’s adventures with, Roo Roo may be your perfect match. Please bring your dog and all household members to meet her to help ensure the best fit for everyone.

Pet adoption fee has been fully paid for from JoRita Verdi.
