Meet Romeo

Romeo was found as a stray in SC. He is about 1 to 1.5 years old and 41 lbs, although he needs to gain about 4 lbs. Romeo is a sweet and slightly timid boy who gets along well with other dogs. We have heard him bark only once in 2.5 weeks and it was at a stranger. He hasn't barked even when all five of his doggy siblings are barking. Romeo is vaccinated, neutered, housebroken and heartworm negative (he was tested in SC two months ago and we just tested him again). He did great at the vet on the 25th with three staff members commenting on how nice he was.

Well, the Dog Scanner app couldn't have been more wrong about Romeo's background because he is 0% and not 2/3 retriever! Instead, he is a mix of 16 breeds of which 37% is PBT, 24% is Staffordshire Terrier and the remaining 39% is a combination of 14 different breeds. As far as we are concerned, he is 100% sweetness!

We prefer to place our dogs within an hour or so of their foster homes.
