Meet Romeo
Meet Romeo, a delightfully sweet and wiggly affectionate 1 year old dog who embodies obedience and playfulness. He gets along famously with dogs of all kinds, both indoors and at the park, where he happily engages in games of chase and wrestling. Romeo even gets along with cats so well!
When he’s bored, he loves to grab his toys out of the bin and play by himself. His favorite toy is a Kong ball with a treat in it or anything he can nibble on! He knows “sit,” “shake,” “stay,” and we’re working on “lay down!” Walking on a leash is a breeze for him, and he's highly motivated by both food and playtime with a ball/other toys. Romeo can be a little fearful of strangers walking by him at first, but he warms up so quickly and doesn’t have a mean bone in his body! He doesn’t shed very much either. While he can be mischievous when bored, he thrives in his crate when left alone, though he prefers snuggling in bed or lounging on the couch at night. He wags his tail all the time and likes to sit on your feet. Everyone LOVES Romeo! He’s a true gem, a real unicorn of a dog!

Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Pep's Pals Rescue direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc).
Our adoption fee is $450 plus health certificate and transport (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, microchip (additional $12.99 registration fee required at time of adoption), fecal analysis, spay/neuter for dogs 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs are current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a health certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days of transport.
