ROMEO ~~ being fostered Pit Bull Terrier Grafton, WV

Romeo Romeo, where fore art thou? He’s here with us at the humane society! Romeo is another court case dog that we got custody of and now we need to find the best home for this bestest boy. All of the volunteers at the shelter just adore this big boy. He takes time to warm up to new people, and his bark sounds like he might eat you, but it’s not the case with Romeo. He adores people and he really adores small dogs. He lived with several small dogs prior to coming here, so little dogs are his best friends. Larger dogs he would probably be fine with but we would definitely require a meet and greet. We don’t want this boy to spend any longer with us than he has to, but we will have to be extra picky for his family because we don’t want him adopted out just to bounce back into the shelter. He has no special needs, but he does tend to have a lot of allergies, as many pit bulls do, and has regularly had to be on allergy meds, antibiotics, steroids, and ear cream to control his itchiness. He prefers to pee outside, not in his kennel, and would probably use the potty regularly outside if taken out regularly, which is unfortunately limited at the shelter. But if you could give this boy his chance at a furever home, we promise that you will love him as we do.
