Romeo's Story

Romeo is a 65-pound, four-year-old, loyal, strong and loving, white and tan American Bulldog (or mix) looking for a loving one week temporary foster and a permanent guardian.

Romeo is looking for someone who appreciates a hunk of a dog who loves walks and being loved. Hed love all your attention as the one and only pet in the home. He is full of slobbery kisses and tail wags for the people he loves.

He thrills to lay on a comfy dog bed at your feet as you work, or chill and binge watch shows with you.

He's also up for a game of tug of war or playing a little fetch with a tennis ball!

Romeo is great in the car while strapped into the back seat (otherwise hell end up trying to cuddle in your lap.) He is fantastic during baths and he loves a rubdown and sinks into your touch.

Romeo is a healthy hunk, neutered, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, bordetella and leptospirosis, heartworm-tested and on monthly preventative, fecal-tested, dewormed, and microchipped. Romeo is housebroken, and can also be crated.

He does have a habit of jumping up when excited, so hes still in training mode and best with a stronger person with dog-loving children who are over 10 years of age, and no other pets in the home.

His adoption fee has been paid by a generous supporter and he comes with absolutely everything you need to care for him. To meet and possibly foster or adopt Romeo, please fill out an adoption application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/dog-adoption-application/ and follow up to meet him by e-mailing friendsofpetraits@gmail.com

He is currently being fostered in Chicagos Andersonville neighborhood.
