Rolley's Story
Meet Rolley — professional land shark, wrinkle enthusiast, and future couch-stealing expert. (case #12532)

At just two months old, Rolley is already mastering the fine art of looking innocent while actively chewing on your fingers. Likely a bully breed cross, this chunky little guy is expected to grow into a medium-to-large-sized dog… eventually. Right now, he’s still mostly wrinkles, oversized paws, confidence, and questionable life choices.

Rolley approaches every day like it’s a full-contact sport. He’s bold, headstrong, endlessly curious, and currently believes human hands are the superior chew toy despite being offered perfectly acceptable alternatives. He’s also at that magical puppy stage where his brain is soaking up everything like a sponge — the good, the bad, and the habits you accidentally laugh at once that become permanent.

This means Rolley will need an adopter who understands that puppies don’t magically “grow out of things” without guidance. Training, consistency, structure, patience, socialization, redirection, repetition, and approximately 47 reminders a day are all part of the package deal. The adorable wrinkles come free with purchase.

Puppyhood is a lot of work:
Tiny shark teeth included
Sleep schedules optional
Zoomies inevitable
Selective hearing already developing
Manners sold separately

Rolley is going to thrive with someone committed to teaching him how to be a well-rounded dog. Positive reinforcement, clear boundaries, and consistency will be key for this smart and stubborn little dude. Underneath all the sass and mouthiness is a loyal, goofy puppy who’s going to make someone laugh every single day.

If you’re ready for muddy paws, stolen socks, endless entertainment, and the rewarding chaos of raising a puppy properly, Rolley is ready to wiggle his way into your life — wrinkles first. Please complete an adoption application:

https://www.hamilton.ca/home-neighbourhood/animals-pets/adopt-or-foster-pet/adoptions

Rolley is too young to be neutered. His adopters will need to be willing to return him to a Hamilton clinic for this surgery, which is included in the adoption fee.

Animal adoptions and viewing are by appointment only. This allows our Adoption Staff to spend quality time with each potential home to ensure the most successful matches are made between the animals and their new families.

*Please note: we only adopt within Ontario
