Roha's Story
Meet Roha! 💛 This 10-year-old, 75-pound Malamute mix is a happy-go-lucky senior with the sweetest face, the softest fur, and so much love to give!

Roha is generally a low-energy girl who loves lounging on the couch, sleeping under her foster's desk while they work, and soaking up affection. But don't let her age fool you! She also loves long neighborhood walks, playing with stuffed animals, splashing around with the water hose, and going just about anywhere with her people. Car rides are a particular favorite!

Roha walks beautifully on leash, does great in her crate, and is doing well with potty training. She's generally good with other dogs and likes to play. She's also being slowly introduced to her foster's cat, and so far she's shown only mild curiosity.

There's something so special about giving a senior dog a loving home. Roha has plenty of life, personality, and affection left to share. She just needs someone ready to enjoy her golden years with her.

To adopt Roha, apply through Arctic Rescue at https://arcticrescue.org/adopt 💛

All Arctic Rescue dogs are marked “Needs Experienced Adopter.” Northern breeds often have higher exercise, training, and care needs. If you’re new to Huskies, Malamutes, or similar breeds, we highly recommend doing a little research before applying to make sure they’re the right fit for your lifestyle.
