This brindle young lad is Roger and he is a typical young wiggly goofy dog with puppy manners, puppy energy, and puppy love.

Roger is ready to fall in love with his human and wants you to show him how to be a good boy, take time to give him exercise, and help shape him into an even more awesome dog than he already is. He shows signs of being housetrained and knows the basics of sit, wait and is learning to not pull on leash.

He’s a good medium size, about 50 pounds, and has a long and lanky body and legs with the most beautiful, soft, shiny golden tiger striped coat.

He is dog friendly at the shelter but we require a meet and greet to make sure a resident dog will approve of him.

He is super smart, loves to see he got it right and will sit on your feet and look up at you for affection and praise. Training will make this guy very happy and we encourage every adopter to do training as it creates an amazing bond between you and your new canine family member.

Because of the COVID19 situation, the shelter is closed to the general public. If you would like to meet any of the adoptable dogs, please fill out an application online (if you are not already pre-approved) , call the shelter, and leave a message with your name and phone number and the dog you're interested in. Have patience, and they will call you back when they can. From there, a time will be scheduled for you to come and meet the dog. Please be patient, and remember they are very short staffed at the moment.
