ROCO's Story
Roco (A134991) is a 3-year-old Basenji mix who weighed 47.6 pounds on intake! 04/07/26 Roco was reluctantly returned to the shelter after his owner received complaints about his barking. Roco is a vocal boy, which is something to be aware of before adopting, especially if you have close neighbors. Roco was said to be a great dog and was described as outgoing, friendly, and affectionate. He was reported to do great with children and strangers! While in their care, Roco did not meet any new animals. However, it was noted that he would bark at dogs that he saw while riding in the car. Please ensure you are making appropriate introductions with all new critters to help set him up for success! If you are interested in meeting Roco, please let us know! 12/30/25 This spirited pup is Roco! Roco arrived at the shelter as a stray and is now looking for his new place to call home. While at the shelter, he has had a lot of spunk and is looking for a home that can take him on plenty of adventures. Roco would benefit from attending a basic obedience class to continue working on his manners. While at the shelter, we have found that Roco likes to mark. He may need some continued work with potty training. We do not know the extent of his history with children or other animals. Please ensure you are making slow, safe, and controlled introductions with all new people and animals to help set him up for success. If you are interested in meeting this adventurous boy, please let us know!
