Rocky Road

At the end of July, a sweet mama gave birth to six puppies after hiding her pregnancy from the shelter she was in. That mama is a pittie mix named Sundae. Sundae is a pittie mix of some kind, and we suspect dad dog, whoever he may be, had at least some Great Dane in him. Those baby scoops of ice cream have grown so much (and we aren’t sure how much more they’ll grow) and they’re ready to leave their familiar ice cream shop to find places of their own!

Because the pups are still so young they are all working on potty training but will require more time and a lot of practice and patience. This particular pup is doing very well with potty training and is almost all the way there! We do suspect some regression in the excitement of moving to a new home, though.

Rocky Road is one of our ice cream parlor pups. This boy loves a good snuggle but is also perfectly fine taking naps on his own. He plays well with others, including kids, and he absolutely loves toys. Because of his mouthiness and puppy antics we would prefer a home for him with children over 8 years old. Playing hard or napping are his two most-used settings.

He’s getting more adventurous by the day and will likely be a pretty independent boy. He would do well in a home with another dog, but would also do well as an only pet. He does great with the resident dogs in his foster home, but doesn't mind entertaining himself with his toys either. If you’re ready to add a sweet boy who will likely have a few salty moments while he learns and grows, Rocky Road might be the pup for you!

Rocky Road's adoption fee is $600! This adoption fee includes: his alter, a microchip, his rabies, bordetella, and age appropriate DAPP vaccines, flea/heartworm preventative, and a deworming treatment while in foster care.

If you think he may be perfect for you, please apply using the link below!

https://www.cognitoforms.com/NorthPawRescue/NorthPawRescueAdoptionApplication

**Unfortunately, we cannot adopt out to Canada at this time.

**We require a 60 minute adoption radius. This dog is currently being fostered in Spencerport, NY.
