I'm pretty true to my Jack Russell Terrier breed traits of being highly intelligent, energetic and a little side of stubborn.<br/><br/>I'm told I photograph much larger than I actually am, but that's just because I have a lot of personality packed in this small breed body! I get along with other dogs with slow intros so we can feel each other out since I have a more dominant play style. I'm working on not being so eager when playing and I take redirection well.<br/><br/>I am potty trained when kept on a schedule. I also do well in my kennel and don't mind sleeping the night away in there. When morning comes, I am definitely excited to get out and play! I know my basic commands, am super treat motivated and eager to please my people. <br/><br/>I walk well on leash and love just exploring the world around me! With my energetic personality and desire to please my people, I may even be good at dog sports like agility and lure courses, too. With a little daily exercise of my body and mind, I am perfectly content playing with my toys solo for a bit and then snuggling up to my people for some love too! Woof Gang Rescue's Adoption Policy
Our top priority here at WGR is to find the best possible home for each dog.  We screen potential adopters in a variety of ways to ensure that every dog goes to a home that is safe, loving, and lasting.  During the adoption process, you will work closely with your dog's foster parent(s), who know your dog most intimately and can determine if your home is the best fit for your dog.  We will take an application, run a background check, and ensure all of your information is accurate.  We schedule a meet & greet for your family to interact with your dog prior to adopt and we may also perform a scheduled home visit as well.  All adopters sign a contract that outlines and promises proper treatment and care for your pet.  The process may seem strict but it is that way on purpose.  Most of the dogs we rescue come from shelters and/or abusive pasts. We are 100% dedicated to finding them a home where they can be happy, healthy, strong, loved, and cared for every day for the rest of their lives. ***We adopt to Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Minnesota only at this time. Residents of Indiana, Michigan and Minnesota will be required to drive to Wisconsin for a meet and greet and the dog that they apply for MUST already be spayed or neutered at the time of adoption.***
