Hi there! I'm Rocky, a handsome 6-year-old German Shepherd/Husky mix with a heart as big as my smile. I was surrendered to the shelter when my previous owner had some life changes, and I’ll be honest—it was a pretty challenging time for me at first. I wasn't quite sure what to think of my new surroundings, but the people here have been so kind. While it took me a little while to warm up and realize I was safe, my sweet and gentle personality is finally starting to surface.<br/><br/>Now that I’m feeling more comfortable, I’ve been busy showing off my skills. I love playing with my squeaky toys, I’m a total pro on a leash, and I consider myself a professional couch snuggler. I’m very curious about other dogs at the shelter, but due to my lack of social skills, I would do best as an only pet. Because I’m a bit of a sensitive soul, older kiddos who can appreciate my nature would suit me best.
