Our Mission

Located in Marshfield, Wisconsin, the Marshfield Area Pet Shelter is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization actively engaged in raising funds to build a permanent humane shelter for the greater Marshfield area. DSL: 411672

We are currently operating out of our temporary intake facility at 210 W 29th Street and at our Adoption Center located inside Marshfield Mall. Open hours at the Adoption Center are Monday - Friday from 4:30-6:00 and Saturday from 11:00-2:00. Only adoptable cats and kittens are housed at our Adoption Center. We do not have open hours at our intake shelter on 29th Street, but appointments can be scheduled to meet our adoptable pets once we receive an approved adoption application.

Our lifesaving mission is to treat all animals with dignity and respect, enrich the lives of animals in need and improve the relationship between people and pets. We pledge that every adoptable animal will be given the opportunity to find a loving home regardless of space, age or time limitations.

Adoption Policy

Adoption Policy:
Adopter must be 18 years of age or older to apply. We prefer adopters visit cats at our Adoption Center before completing our application. Before meeting any animals located at the shelter on 29th Street or in foster care, adopters MUST complete an adoption application FIRST. Online applications are preferred. Adoption coordinator will contact applicants within 2-3 business days. This may vary depending on the number of animals in our care.
