Hello! My name is Rocky and I am a handsome fella of about 3 yrs of age with energy like a young pup. I most certainly am a mix of breeds with beautiful markings, perky ears, and a soft fluffy type coat. I did have an owner at one time but found myself stranded at the shelter very unsure of why. After awhile, I let my tough boy guard down and was happy to trust new peeps to get me out.
I really am a spunky guy that will need exercise, training and a chance to burn off energy both physically and mentally. I am known as a goofball that is ready to find my home that will understand me and help me become the best boy I can be.
I do know how to sit for some yummy treats and would love to learn more.
I do enjoy running laps in the yard and will also chase some toys to burn off steam. In fact, I often amuse myself with a good ole bouncy toy and play fetch. I am learning to release toys and also like to play tug.
I can be a bit jumpy when I am over excited but I am leaning my manners with the help of volunteers.
I also can be quite cuddly and look for praise and reassurance when needed.
I am working on my walking manners but with time, patience and a good handler.. I am sure to succeed.
I have met some dogs in the yard at the shelter but will most definitely need a meet and greet with a resident dog.
