Rocky's Story
If you don’t know Rocky and Chase’s story…they were dumped in rural Gaston County. A wonderful Good Samaritan spotted them on the side of the road going to her mother’s home for a baby shower and so she couldn’t stop to get them. Four days later she went the same route and they were still there sitting on the edge of the road watching traffic and waiting on the horrible humans who dumped them. I hear the same story day after day!! This time She scooped them up and held them for the stray hold and then the shelter required for them to come there. So we sprung them and they’re back with her as she Foster’s! Rocky weighs 54 pounds and is long and will most likely be a big boy. They both are estimated around 8-9 months old and believed to be Australian cattle dog mixes. They both have been neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. They’re both heartworm negative and have started prevention. You can tell they have not had any training as they jump up on you but they’re both so affectionate and are smart and trainable. They grab your arm in their mouth begging for affection like a big puppy.🐾🐾💙
