Hi there! My name is Rocky. Let's address the elephant in the room right off the bat, shall we? The gray elephant that is! Yep, you guessed it. My stunning gray coat. Everyone is talking about it that's for sure.

Well, they are talking about my beautiful coloring and my gentle and sweet demeanor too. Actually, I keep hearing the volunteers here at Desert Haven going on and on about me. It's a little embarrassing! I'm not the type of dog to demand a lot of attention. I wait my turn. Have decent manners. So I suppose there are just so many great things to mention about me, my looks, my personality, and my temperament -- that there is just a lot for the volunteers to talk about! Here is one conversation I overheard a couple days after I arrived here at Desert Haven.

"Did you meet Rocky yet? (Not yet.) Oh! Wait til you meet him! He's a total love and such a good, good boy. And he's gray! I know we shouldn't have favorites but Rocky is it! Shh!"

One sweet lady noticed I was being very patient and calm while I was watching her eat her lunch. She glanced over and saw me looking at her and she goes, I kid you not, "What's up, boyfriend?"

Oh my dog, I just melted!! She thinks I'm boyfriend material! Me. Rocky. I'm pretty unassuming most times, but she thinks I'm handsome, friendly, playful, and sweet -- all the things a good boyfriend should be. That's me, someone's boyfriend! Am I yours? Let's meet soon to find out! Love, Rocky
