Rocky's Story
BARC welcomes Rocky the Rottie. Rocky was rescued from Jesup Pound. Hes been treated for Heartworms. Hes up-to-date on all of his shots. He is already neutered, microchip and ready for his new home.

From Foster Mom:
"Rocky does need more leash training, but weve been working on that he does know basic commands and is crate trained. Gets along with all the people and is social with the dogs that I have at my house. He is a big fellow weighing over 70 pounds so I would suggest that older children so that he does not knock them down.

From Volunteer:
"I got to meet Rocky, and he is a great boy! He was super excited at first which likely would intimidate anyone but he just loves attention. He settles right down once you love him for a full 60 seconds that he is counting! :) Rocky walked well on the leash for me. He enjoyed getting his sniffies in and didnt pull. I believe he will pick up really quickly on the leash rules. He will jump at first but again, excited. He is correcting well and I with consistency in a home, it will be a breeze. For a boy who is in a foster home with many dogs, he is doing exceptionally. He is also friendly with the resident cat!! He does seem focused on the chickens outside the fence. I dont know if he would resist temptation on free rangers if he didnt have a fence. Rocky is so ready for a home to call his with his new best friend!"

if you would like to add this wonderful boy to your family, you can apply for him at Brantleyanimalrescuecoalition.com
